Administrative/Biographical History

Alice Julia Marshall was born in Stirling in 1891. She was educated at University of Glasgow, gaining a MB ChB (1917). Alice spent virtually the whole of her career in the Pathology Department of Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where she held the positions of Assistant Pathologist and Lecturer in Pathology to the University of Glasgow. Alice retired in Glasgow in 1956 and died in 1987.
